As a disclaimer, I have to state that using any of the information
on this page for medicinal purposes shouldn't be considered
"medical advice" or used in place of proper medical treatment.
In my experience, natural herbal remedies work very well for minor
illnesses, pains, etc, but if you are seriously injured or sick,
then please seek professional help! Also, please be aware that
many of these recipes are for external use only and ingesting
certain herbs/essential oils may be harmful and/or fatal.
"Nature has provided a veritable magical pantry in the plants which cover our planet. For untold ages these plants have been utilized in magic - the practice of causing change by natural (albeit little-understood) powers." This was taken from Cunningham's Encyclopedia of Magical Herbs.
“"In ancient times plants were Gods and Goddesses; spirits and magicians lived within gnarled oaks and whispered from flowers. Our ancestors discovered the forces present in plants and harnessed them to improve their lives.
Medicinal
"Though the medicinal properties of plants are fairly well known - many of the most widely-prescribed drugs are synthesized versions of substances originally derived from plants - their occult powers are less accessible. Much of magic still lies in the shadow of secrecy."
My Goal
To help those better understand the powers of herbs, their usefulness in everyday common illnesses, like colds, menstrual cramps, flu, even menopause. I suggest you read up on the particular herbs before looking at any of the recipes. I myself have tried many of these recipes, and have found them to work, but to each their own, they may not work for you. Be aware of your allergies before attempting to try anything on here and remember, if you are seriously sick or hurt, seek professional medical treatment a.s.a.p.
